In response in an anonymous survey of Iceland ’24 field trip participants to the question:  “How was Johan as a guide/educator/organizer compared to other guides/educators/organizers?”, 92% responded “5 of 5” and 8% at “4 of 5”.

 About the 9-day Iceland trip:

“Johan was so organized and knowledgeable about the areas we were traveling to. He was flexible and had a contingency plan (or four) for each day if one excursion didn’t work out for whatever reason. He took into consideration every member of the group and each of our needs and somehow managed to make everyone feel comfortable, safe, and excited! As an educator when you are passionate and genuinely excited about the material it rubs off on your students. Johan’s lessons were engaging and relevant.”

They are massive trips with so many moving parts but he flows effortlessly with the problems and finds solutions and makes it look easy.”
